Year: 2010

Client Needs: In 2010, Mystic Acres Welsh Springer Spaniels needed their website redesigned and expanded. They also needed a way to be able to update their own website.

Solution:We used WordPress as the content management system for this website. We created a custom website design and added a gallery pluggin for all of the photos of their dogs.

Year: 2009

Client Needs: Richmond Boxer Rescue had no website or logo, so they needed branding for their organization. More importantly, they needed a website that could be easily updated by multiple volunteers who had no knowledge of html so they could provide timely information about the dogs they have available for adoption.

Solution: Acclaimed Web Development & Online Marketing created this website for Richmond Boxer Rescue in March 2009. We designed the graphics, including the logo in Photoshop CS. Then, we used Joomla for the website's back-end and blog. Acclaimed Web Development & Online Marketing also wrote much of the text for Richmond Boxer Rescue and used a silhouette of a picture of our president, Crystal Nolen's boxer, Raiden for the main content background.

Now Richmond Boxer Rescue has a website with a content management system they can update themselves and a blog to post articles about dogs they've rescued. We also setup their adoption and foster applications as online forms, so applications can be filled out online. Acclaimed Web Development & Online Marketingused Ajax / CSS suckerfish menus for the drop-down horizontal navigation.

Client Needs: Owning and researching several different breeds, I knew that the best tools were not available to welsh springer spaniel breeders. First of all, they need a pedigree database that allows them to add and update their own dogs.

Solution: We created a pedigree database using open source software that was freely available on the Internet. It doesn't do everything We would like it to do, but those features will be added in the coming months. The second phase of the project will include adding fields for health information, sibling information and inbreeding coefficient calculations.

Client Needs: We wanted to create a social network since that is something we have never done before. We decided to create a social networking website for dog show exhibitors since that is a passion of mine and we could not find any other sites for this kind specifically for dog show enthusiasts.

Solution: After thoroughly researching, we found a nice social networking content management system called elgg to use as the backend of this website. We skinned the template to give it the look-and-feel we wanted for this site and it is being used to share stories, blog posts, and photos and also post status updates.

Year: 2009

Client Needs: This website needed a refreshed look-and-feel since it was last redesigned in 2003. It also needed some type of include or template solution, so that each page did not have to be changed to update the header or footer.

Solution: We gave his site a new custom-designed, Web 2.0 look and feel and used php includes for the header, footer and navigation, so that we did not have to continue updating the navigation and copyright on each individual page.

Year: 2009

Client Needs: We needed a website to represent myself as a web designer and internet marketer in the central VA region and we wanted my own Joomla website to play around and experiment with.

Solution: Acclaimed Web Development & Online Marketing provided them with a php-nuke driven website that meets all their needs. New members can subscribe via paypal and members can also make donations via paypal. The customized php-nuke template is branded with their company logo and colors and includes a flash header.

Client Needs: Roswell Humane Society already had a website they were updating themselves, but it was only one page with all of their content on one very long page. They needed a more professional look-and-feel and a site that was easier for potential adopters to navigate.

Solution: Acclaimed Web Development & Online Marketing designed this website for Roswell Humane Society in 2004 by working with the shelter staff to give them a much nicer looking and easier to use website. Roswell Humane Society is still using the same design we created in 2004 and the shelter staff update their own website with a list of all of the dogs and cats at the shelter.

We designed the graphics for this website in Photoshop and wrote the html in Homesite. The javascript menus were coded in Dreamweaver.
